The Green and Purple Outfit

Happy Monday! It has been a full week since I have been back on the blogging bandwagon and I can’t tell you how excited I am! This past Monday I decided to take a risk and go with a colour combination I haven’t tried before – purple and green. And whoever said that they don’t go together wasn’t entirely wrong. It all depends on the shades of the colours! I had these floral emerald green pants tucked in my closet, waiting for spring to arrive and wasn’t sure what would go with them aside from white.

Since I didn’t think I had anything that matched, I tried to accentuate the tiny purple centres of the flowers on the pants. I went with my bright purple blouse. I don’t wear the blouse often because I never know the “right” season to wear it in, and have a hard time finding the right pants to wear with it.

I decided to go with a plain white blazer from Dynamite for the top because I felt there was enough going on with the bright colours and the printed pants. The pants are from H & M Canada and the blouse was purchased from Suzy Shier a few years ago.

This purse is my absolute favourite. It is from Call It Spring. Who would’ve thought – purple and greens aren’t just for your vegetable garden!

What do you think of this colour combination? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
