Happy Thursday! The weekend is only one day away- you can do it! Usually by Thursday I am so tired and ready for the weekend. And ready to not wear work clothes, but this past Thursday I wanted to have a bit of fun with my work clothes and decided to try a trend I had been seeing all over Instagram – the pink all over trend. I thought all the different shades of pink looked so lovely paired together and thought I would try it for myself.
I may have went a bit bolder. When I saw this floral shirt from H and M I knew it had to be mine. Those big pink flowers sang to me, and I could instantly picture wearing the shirt many different ways. When you find a blouse like that, you snatch it up! It also helped that it was only $14.99. That is my kind of price point!
The pastel pink pants I had originally tried on with the shirt just didn’t do it for me. They weren’t cheerful enough. I decided to try on these hot pink pants that I got from Urban Planet and loved the way they brightened up my top. These pants are so comfortable. I love the length and definitely see them being worn all summer long.
I then realized that even though I have so many pairs of pink flats, none were the right shade for this outfit. I decided to have fun with and and continue the floral pattern onto my feet with these embroidered floral flats form Suzy Shier. I have a hard time finding outfits to wear these shoes with, but thought they added a fun touch to this cheery outfit.
I am so ready for warmer weather and all the colours that it brings into our wardrobes and into nature.
